prior to being picked up by US forces in January 1945.
It is a letter written by him on
December 3, 1944 informing his parents he had been injured.
The letter is enclosed in a UC-6
envelope with US Army Base Censor marks. It in turn is enclosed in a second
envelope from the Office
of the Base Censor at APO 72
in the Philippines.
